Sverdrup Basin study

BIOSTRATIGRAPHY AND CORRELATION OF 14 WELLS, SVERDRUP BASIN, ARCTIC CANADA

Sverdrup Basin report image new

Summary

Wells from the Sverdrup Basin contains thick sections of Permo-Triassic strata overlain by Jurassic and Cretaceous sections that vary greatly in thickness. Cenozoic strata are poorly represented in all wells from the region, except for Crocker I-53, which is included in the study.

Individual well reports document the stratigraphy of 14 key wells, and a synthesis report tabulates the ages, zones and formation tops in the wells and includes correlation of the wells.
